Schools and Nursery Visits
I explain how Storytime began for me in this short video series.
My musical Storytime developed at nurseries. My workshop is a mix of listening, learning, drawing, drama, singing, and dancing. I cover a number of skills e.g: social interaction, developing self-confidence, listening and concentration skills.
My sessions are fun, engaging, interactive, creative, and educational. I cover a range of ages from preschool to Year One and Two school groups.
My Storytimes complement Key Stage 1 and areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Music Audio Stories have different themes which at times, connect to learning programs. Some stories are ideal for the beginning of the school year when new children are settling in. Others are energetic with movement.
However, they all stimulate listening and observation skills. Children learn about animals and insects, as well as other valuable life lessons and they enjoy singing and dancing along. Occasionally I use props and visual aids.

Season Specials
I have a number of stories tailored for different seasons throughout the year.
'Christmas Magic' is perfect for Christmas performances
(which I have performed at Treetops Nursery and other workshops).
The audiobook includes a sing-along song that children can learn quickly.
It also incorporates Christmas themes such as giving and sharing.

'Chris the Caterpillar' is my Summer story, when children are learning about the colours of flowers and are spending more time outdoors. My story 'Weird and Wonderful' works well for Halloween. It teaches children about the less popular bugs such as centipedes and slugs and the importance of not stepping on the insects. Plus children love to draw spiders in their webs!
The recent addition to this category is my Easter story called 'Easter Egg Hunt'. It was extremely popular during my Easter Library Tour in 2019 and Easter Library Tour in 2022.
Homeschooling
Music Audio Stories are not only great for preschool but they are also brilliant for homeschooling.
They provide an entertaining tool to not only stimulate children's listening abilities but also improve their visualization and language skills.
You can create your own fun Storytime at home using my Storytime Packages or encourage your children to enjoy the activities, while you go and have a cup of tea!

Children's Artwork
I publish children’s drawings making their artwork part of the Music Audio Stories creative world.
I have collected hundreds of drawings that can be seen on our social media platforms and on YouTube videos.

'Robert & Johnson's Space Adventure' drawings by Gower House School
Libraries and Workshops
The story was age appropriate. Kept the children focused and covered a number of skills.
Mrs Jobe - Gower House School
The children loved Anna Christina. They enjoyed drawing the elements of the story and acting it out. I would love to have this story time on a monthly basis.
Shehama Russell - Happy Hands Montessori Nursery
Presentation and story was absolutely fantastic. The children interacted well and did some beautiful pictures and lively acting. Please come again.
Brenda Forrester - Nuffy Bear Day Nursery
Children were fully engaged at all times throughout the story and workshop. The children were kept focused. They enjoyed the story, singing and movement.
Lynne Norris - St George’s Primary School
Both groups were engaged. She explained the workshop well and was calm and sensitive to their needs and responses. They really enjoyed acting out the story and got the message of putting rubbish in the bin.
Wendy Kelly - Jelli Tots Nursery
I thought the story was great, the children used their imagination and took part in the story. I think the children really enjoyed this kind of storytelling and it gave them a chance to all join in.
Jeuene - Treetops Nursery
The children were really engaged and were excited listening to the story and drawing what they could hear. Simple - easy to listen and retell the story.
Kirstie O'Connor - Stonebridge Primary School
Anna Christina was engaged with the children and parents/carers. She was able to encourage the children to listen to the music and carry out the activity after the story.
Abena Pinamang - Willow Children's Centre
The story was amazing, the children had a lot of fun and Anna Christina interacted with them so well. It's something really interesting because they use a bit of their own imagination.
